Design Process

To create meaningful innovations, you need to know who your users are and care about their lives. Below is the Stanford School of Design process that I like to apply in my work.

Develop an understanding of the challenge

Empathize

Empathize

Clearly define the problem you want to solve

Clearly define the problem you want to solve

Define

Brainstorm solutions, select one and develope it

Ideate

Build a prototype to test all or part of the solution

Prototype

Engage a continuous short-cycle process

Test

How did it go? Repeat from Define if needed

Evaluate

Linear Background

Personas, customer journey maps, white-boarding, wireframes, prototyping, testing, repeat until you get good results, create style guide, handoff to devs. These come from the Stanford School of Design and something we've all learned and strive to follow.
