At my core, I’m a maker. Whether working in oil, metal, or wood, I’m driven by the physicality of the process—the feel of tools in hand, the resistance of materials, and the quiet problem-solving that happens when form takes shape. My oil paintings are built through layers and time, where each brushstroke is a response to the one before it. I’m drawn to the tactile nature of the medium, and how it invites both control and chaos. In sculpture, I work primarily with metal and wood—cutting, welding, carving, shaping—exploring the tension between structure and imperfection. Every piece is an exploration of material honesty and the act of making something real. Whether on canvas or in space, my work is a conversation between hands, tools, and raw materials—rooted in tradition, guided by intuition, and always grounded in the joy of building.
